AGS Consulting & Training, Australian Institute of Project Management endorsed courses are delivered by Agreement with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Pro Leaders Academy 45024.  AGS deliver the training and assessments. Qualification are issued by the RTO.  

Workshop durations are adjusted to suit delegate numbers ie quicker pace with smaller groups.

Assessment Process

The typical assessment process (varies to suit Qualification) is summarised as follows:

• Undertaking workshop activities which include filling out templates (eg for a project or program from start to finish) - AGS provides templates, examples, checklists. Templates are filled-in during workshop activities and completed post-workshop. Delegates may work on case studies or real workplace projects, in teams or on their own. Workplace templates/ deliverables may also be used for evidence
• Completion of an Assessment Record Book (ARB), primarily answering knowledge and understanding questions (no exam!). This is typically completed post workshop.

It takes anything from ten to 500 hours to complete post-workshop activities (ie templates and ARB as outlined above) depending upon several factors including experience, work pace, tasks completed in the workshop, use of workplace evidence etc. 'Typical' timeframes range from 50 - 250 hours.

RegPM – AIPM Certification

AGS also offer RegPM assessments (Australian Institute of Project Management’s
Certification Program) undertaken either in conjunction with a course/qualification or without (see Booking Forms for more information).

As recognition of the rigorous process of course endorsement under AIPM’s Endorsed Course Provider Program, a delegate who has completed a qualification course and applies for Associate Membership is eligible to apply for AIPM’s RegPM Certification Program at Certified Practicing Project Practitioner level (CPPP).

Assessment

The assessment process is summarised as follows:

• Undertaking activities which include filling out templates (eg for a project from start to finish) - AGS provides templates, examples, checklists. Workplace templates/ deliverables may also be used for evidence
• Completion of an Assessment Record Book (ARB), primarily answering knowledge and understanding questions (no exam!).

Depending upon several factors (experience, speed of working, use of existing workplace evidence etc) it can take anything from 25 (in the case of RPL - Recognition of Prior Learning) - 500 hours to complete courses. Many people complete courses in substantially less time (eg 75 - 250 hours).
