AIPM RegPM Certification

RegPM is the Australian Institute of Project Management’s (AIPM’s) National Certification Program. Educational qualifications are a separate form of recognition from RegPM. Why RegPM? (see below) ... compared to PMP & Prince2 (Source: AIPM). 

AIPM’s Certification Program is based on AIPM’s own Competency Standards. RegPM is widely recognised in all sectors as a best practice model for project, program and portfolio management.

There are 5 levels of RegPM:
CPPE        Certified Practising Portfolio Executive
CPPD       Certified Practising Project Director
CPSPM     Certified Practising Senior Project Manager*
CPPM       Certified Practising Project Manager*
CPPP        Certified Practising Project Practitioner 

   *  Eligible candidates can complete CPPM & CPSPM. via a single assessment.

• Offer advice regarding level (CPPD, CPSPM, CPCOM. CCPPM, CPPP) pre-application to AIPM
• Provide options for sensitive & non-accessible evidence (redact, referee reports, videocon etc)
• Appreciate candidates situations including where they work in organisations without methodology
• Clarify evidence requirements (validity, currency, range, quantity, quality…)
• Support planning and ‘self-management’
• Point candidates in the 'right' direction(s)
• Give constructive feedback, when assessing drafts & final evidence
• Offer guidance when candidates are stuck or have ‘gaps’ in experience or knowledge
• Feedback strengths and suggested areas for ‘improvement’
• Respond typically within 24-28 hours (depending upon commitments including travel)
